Similar to the well received NVIDIA Shield TV, which could take 720p or 1080p content and upscale it to 4K at up to 30 frames per second using the AI hardware within the Tegra X1+, RTX VSR is a further, more advanced development. Some comparison screenshots, taken on my personal system with a 3080 Ti and a 1440p monitor, it seems the technology is most noticeable when applied to videos at 720p resolution and below. ![]()
